Peter L. Fishback

Peter L. Fishback is a retired civil servant who holds university degrees in finance, law, and statistics. He served in the Air National Guard and did a short tour of duty with the regular U.S. Air Force. Mr. Fishback grew up in New York City. At age 30, he stopped practicing law and left New York to work for the federal government in Kansas, Iowa, and then Washington, DC. He currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.

Late in life, Mr. Fishback developed a passion for Joyce's Ulysses, especially with respect to the British Army and Irish life in the Late-Victorian and Edwardian Eras. Research, writing and maintenance of this website occupies him full-time.
